I voted for "keep it mixed", but I agree with camstone. Don't feel the need to pander to us.
I go through my share of personal hand-wringing, and "What do you people want from me?" moments with my own journal when I go several posts in a row without comments. Even so, I have continued to post what and when the whim strikes me.
The fact that there hasn't been a mass exodus from my friends tells me that, if not right, at least I'm not going too far wrong.

I just want to know where the interests of my readers lie.
My LJ is my LJ and I'll post what I see fit, if anything at all. :=3

Again, as I remarked to Cam, I'm just wondering where the interests of m readers lie.
I never had a mass exodus either, but being a cat, as you are, I tend to get curious. :=3

I'd also say that it is more up to you as to how deep or light you make it. It is your journal and you're free to do what you want in it.
