lionkingcmslI got the final word today. I start on Monday!!!
YYYYEEEESSSS!!!!
I was supposed to have training on Thursday and Friday, with train travel and hotel paid for, in Groton Conn. However I got an update phone call saying they will be having another training class on Mon. & Tues of next week at 30th. St. Station in Philly. ;=3
So after all this waiting, it is official, I'm now employed by Amtrak. :=3
I have to go in on Wed. to fill out some final paperwork, but that is a technicality. I am officially HIRED!!! :=3
From when I first heard about the job to getting it ~3 months. Not bad considering it is a quasi-federal agency. :=3
New York City will never be the same. :=3
