lowen_kind because I had changed it from LionkingCMSL. Löwen Kind is an "Americanzation" of the German phrase kind der löwen (I think I got it right), or child of the lion. So Löwen Kind means "lion's child".
LionkingCMSL came from when I signed on the old Yahoo chat and Lionking was taken. I added CMSL to honor the RR I was/am working for, the Cape May Seashore Lines.

My journal is titled "Ramblings, rants & idle thoughts" because it describes my entries quite nicely, I think.

My subtitle is "from the railroading lion. :=3" because it describes whose LJ it is, mine. The " :=3 " is my idea of a lion "smilie".

My friends page is called "Some friends of mine" for the same reasons as outlined above: it's descriptive.
