Heh, I got almost the same results!

What Kind of American English Do You Speak? (http://www.blogthings.com/amenglishdialecttest/)

Problem is, the quiz doesn't let me select more options... I speak a weird hybrid of dialects. I use both cellar and basement. Aunt/ant are both used, depending on which flows better with the name. But worst of all...

I've used "y'all" and "yous" in the same sentence. *facepaws*

I'm linguistically confuzzled!

I know what you mean. I tend to use both version of "route", depending on usage: i.e. I live off of Route (root) 40 in Malaga, but the truck route (rout) is very noisy. :=/

No surprise to this Wisconsin native. They forgot 'bubbler', a word you hear ONLY in Wisconsin, referring to a drinking fountain.

Does that mean that a champagne fountain is a "Bubbly Bubbler?" Sorry, couldn't resist, ^_^

Ok, I added the other for the questions I skipped for the canadianisms. An easy class here is called "A bird course." My pronunciation of "Route" depends if I'm using it as a noun or a verb. Mary and marry I pronounce the same, but different from merry.

*nod* I also tend to use often use many of the either or terms interchangeably, like cellar/basement, "root" vs "rowt" for pronounciations. Comes from having a Dad from Michigan, a Mom from Ireland and watching a heck of a lot of british tv when I was a kid :)
