First, Casey, though I can get breaks on tickets, I don't think I could get car haulage/storage fees waived. ;=3

Not only that, we'd be stuck at the end of the train, as those trains are Superliners.

Wow that's some trip! I've thought of asking folks in the area if they wanted to do a train trip to Anthrocon, if/when I go there...

You've got me curious... I assume Wash-Chicago is just an overnight trip, but how many days/nights are you on the train between Chicago and LA?

Three days between Chicago and the west coast. The trip is four days total one way.
