Although that is a tempting solution, it is not very pracitable. :={ There reasons why: 1. I'm not allowed to have weapons on the train. 2. It is very hard to aim and shoot while doing 30 mph and still keep an eye on up coming crossings. 3. They are on the opposite side of the train from me most of the time.
As for having the Conductors armed, not on your life with the two we have now. ;=/ A certain red wolf would've been a candidate, but one of the two we have working for us would probably put a blast in the ceiling of the car, if not shoot himself in the foot.
I would rather se police officers riding with us at various times. I would like to see the "Perp's" face as a uniformed officer stepped off the train. ;=3
Ideally, I would like to have the Lion's Den and her sensors tracking the train. At the first sign of trpouble have them "Transported" to either the LD or the local police station. Can you see them trying to explain how they just appeared at the police station with a paint ball gun or quad/dirt bike in their possesion. Or trying to tell some one that they saw bipedal talking animals on a star ship. ;=3
