Well time for a monthly update or so.
No action on me getting a replacement job for McD's, but the RR is still looking good, even in the off season. There are many things than can happen in a good way and I got a good feeling about them. :=3
Also some more news about my quitting McD's.
One reason, not mentioned, was that I was getting terrible headaches. I was waking up in severe pain. I was irritable and not my normal self because of the pain.
Well, I had been sleeping on the floor, in the living room, since quitting McD's and my headaches stopped. I had thought the headaches stopping was because of me not having the aggravation of the job and thought nothing more about them. Then one night I decided I should sleep in my bad as it was getting rough on my back sleeping on the floor.
That was a bad decision. The next morning I had a headache almost to migrane porportions. Nothing I did got rid of it. The next night I slept on the floor again and no headache. :=/
I then went over what had occured in the two weeks between me last laying in the bed and then. Ok, the heat had come on and the heater is below my bedroom. Carbon Monoxide poisoning? Not likely. The heater is located in the crawl space and my home is pretty drafty. Also the headaches had started during the summer when the heater was not running. Also, if it was CO I figured I probably wouldn't be worrying about it. :={
That also scratched the water heater located in a "closet" next to my bedroom.
A cold draft from the window above my bed? Again, possible, but not likely as I have slept in tents under more adverse condition and, as stated before, the headaches started in the summer.
To me that only left one thing, my pillows. I had not washed them in some time and thought that might be the cause.
I washed all my pillows and bed clothes, just to be sure. That night I went to bed with a bit of unease. Was I right or did I overlook something.
I woke up the next morning without a hint of a headache. ;=3 So I'm very sure that the pillows were to blame.
In retrospect had I discovered the cause of my headaches sooner I might stil be at McD's, but I doubt it. I've talked to some of the employees that still work there and they said things have gotten worse. :={
So time will tell if I did the right thing or not.
