First of all, I don't feel very good.
I don't know what it is, but for the past week or so I have had this feeling of emptiness in my stomach. It doesn't matter how much I eat, it is still there. :=/
This morning I got the dry heaves for no apparent reason. ;={
I let work know that I may not be in tonight. This would make the first day I did not make it to work due to illness and only the second time I missed a scheduled day. The first was when I went to D.C. I told them I would let them know around noon if I wasn't going to be in.
On a happier note I had 3 other people over to help play test my new game.
Skytech, Max Urso and
kevinpease stopped by the "Den" to play.
All in all it went well. There were some suggestions as how to make the game run better.
One thing I did note though is after the first hand, which lasted 27 minutes, the other four hands lasted between 2 and 7 minutes. apparently once people get used to the rules, the more people you have the faster the game play. I expect though that if you have 6 people playing the hand times would increase as the natural randomness, of how the game is played, would increase.
I still have not heard back from "Out of the Box", but I did put in a follow up phone call to them. I talked to the head of "game procurement" and he said that they are in the middle of their show season, but, yes, he did recieve my e-mail and should go over it sometime this week.
I have to thank, once again Sky, Max and Kevin for coming over. It was great that they helped play test the game, of course, but it did break up the normal routine of my Saturdays. It was agrred that we should do it now and again to break up everyone's routine.
It also forced me to clean the "Den" as it can get quite messy at times. ;=3
Heck, I live alone, with a pussy cat, you expect it to stay looking like I have a maid? ;=3
