LJ weirdness

OK, I got the following in my e-mail just now:

G-Rant (tkarrde98) replied to another comment somebody left in your LiveJournal post. The comment they replied to was:

Their reply was:

Utterly despicable, that's what I call it.

All well and good except for two things:
1. The quote from "somebody" is from the_gneech, who is, obivously, a registered LJ user and his comment was from my whelp(birth)day post back on 9/27/02 and the post you are taken to, and the one TKarrde is referring to, is the one about phono jacks and receivers I did on 4/01/03.

2. The post it refers to doesn't show up on either of the two threads.

Weird.
