An update with actual content. Wow!
Apr. 16th, 2006 11:21 amWell, life has been pretty busy, though calm, more or less.
The job with Amtrak has had its moments, but on the whole I'm happy there. BTW, I'm no longer "headquartered" in New York Penn, I'm now at the radio shop in Sunnyside Yard. There is a slight chance that there may be a job opening up at the Philly radio shop. If that happens I'll go there.
The CMFM is a go. Later this week I'll be doing postings to remind people of that fact. With me moving and getting the new job the CMFM sort of slid to the back burner, but its happening was never in doubt. It looks like we will be able to get into Cape May by train this year. Yipee!
To quote the TV news casts, "And the big story is" I have met someone and her name is Teri. :=3
I met her via match.com about 3 weeks ago. We had been communicating by e-mail for a while. We then switched to phone calls. Last Friday night (4/7/06) we hads our first date. She is okay with fur, and is in fact a latent fur herself. She collects bears and tigers and likes my fur suit. I didn't wear it to our date, you sillies, I had sent her a link to a photo, of me in suit, at FC.
We had our second date last night (4/15/06) and we strolled around Wilmington, DE's waterfront on the Christiana river. Our dates have lasted better than four hours, and get your minds out of the gutter. ;=3
We have just talked, with me doing most of the talking. :=3
We also had some heart to heart discussions and she knows most everything about me.
She is also is going to go to the Ocean City, NJ Doo-Dah parade next Saturday, so she can meet some of the "crazies" I call friends. :=3
Teri has also expressed an interest in RPG gaming and will watch one of our wacky gaming sessions sometime in the future.
So, this had been kept under wraps as I had been burnt before, but I do believe that this will work out. :=3
And, for those that celebrate it - Happy Easter, and for those that don't - have a great Sunday. ;=3
