However a clarification may be in order.
When I said "time line" I was referring to an event that would happen X years in the future, where X would be longer than our universe has to exist.
In other words, for argument's sake (and I know the times are probably wrong, so no quibbling about my calculations :=3), lets say it would take someone, and their descendants, 25 billion years to count every grain of sand on the planet, but the universe will end in about, again for argument's sake, 20 billion years. So the question is: Will it actually take "forever" to count all the grains of sand on the planet?
