A heads up...

for those that are coming to the party, or just stopping by.

As Kamau has found out, I now have, and have had for a bit, a wireless net in the house, with an "range expander" that takes it into the coop and beyond. Before you ask, yes, it is "secure" and not open to everyone that happens to have a wi-fi card. Also the computers on the home network have a workgroup assigned to them, so they're pretty well invisible.
On top of that, on Saturday we had high-speed cable internet installed. :=3

So all you SLers, MUCKers and WOWers will have high speed access for your fix, if you so desire.

I will be setting up a temp access code for the party only. So it will work for this weekend only, and probably for any other get togethers of any size.

So, yes, the lion was dragged kicking and sceaming to high speed 'net access. Not really, as the 26.4k dial up was getting on my nerves.

Also note that my e-mail addies will not change.
