This is for the U.S.'s Memorial Day

The 13 stone obelisks are for the 13 "major" wars: Revolutionary, 1812, Mexican, Spanish-American, Civil, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afgan, Iraq2. The black metal marker on the left signifies lesser conflicts and the one on the right is for the "War on Terror". The large gold plaque is for those members of the services that lost their lives just because they were U.S. armed forces personnel and were targeted as such, and were not in any hostile actions. The barracks bombing comes to mind.

In front is an "Eternal Flame".
