What a difference 2 years makes.

Back in July of 2013 Google Earth's Street View car took this photo of my house:


Today, 1 July, 2015 at about 6:15p I took this one, at approximately the same place:


Other than the signal the main difference is that the large dead pine tree is now just a large stump and the bushes along the road are now stumps.

I have been working on removing them for the past week or so. They were "Rose of Sharon" and were basically weeds.They had gotten totally out of control.The one nearest the camera was dieing anyway; there is large holes where the heart wood should be.The last one in the row, which is not totally removed, was over grown with thorn bushes and was almost not there.

I plan to cut everything back to the cedar tree, which is on the property line, and from the road to the end of my fence.

A couple neighbors talked to me and stated it looked a lot better.

From the pictures you can tell the sight lines are much improved, one of the reasons I removed them, and the yard doesn't look so overgrown.

Tomorrow I need to get as much of the branches into the back woods. and continue hacking away. :=3

I will admit I do suffer from inertia on occasion, but when the mood strikes me to do something - WATCH OUT! :=3
