Train watching

While at work, while waiting for a bucket truck to arrive, I decided to film some trains going by.

Here is an Acela roaring by at ~135 mph at County Interlocking.

Nice to be able to do some serious railfanning while working. :=3

The film Atlas Shrugged Part I has a serious focus on railroads, and an extended track-laying sequence.

I thought of LK when I saw this -- the railroad itself is a sort of hero of the story, or at least this first portion.

There is a triumphant scene of the approach to the futurist bridge crossing Wyatt's Gulch -- though this doesn't prevent things going wrong that are not the railroad's fault.
