The 747 in the previous render finally gets back into the air.

With the assistance of the South Jersey & Western Railroad's track gangs a rolling runway was created, by laying 2 miles of 5 sets of track and using 5 100 ton flat cars. Here the big jet's main gear has just lifted off of the flat cars. The front gear has been up for a bit and its flat car is slowing down. The 747 has only used about one half of the two mile length. There is only five people on-board, no other payload and only enough fuel, with a safety margin, to get the jet to the next full service airport.

There was some concern about the flat cars staying on the track at speeds between 160 to 180 mph, but computer simulations suggested that they would be okay as long as the weight of the big jet was on them.

I have checked the stats on a 747-300 and in theory this could work. Whether it would work is another story.
