Well I called the manager as I was told to. I did that about 3:45p. I found out something interesting that may, nay, will have a lot to do if I stay or if I'm fired.

It seems that the district manager was walking into the store as I was storming out of it last night. Ooops.

If I had known that she was going to be there I would've talked to her.

So, as of right now, my status is on hold, until the S.M. talks to the D.M.

As they say, I made my bed, now I have to sleep in it.

Art lesson

Thanks BT.

I have a few "How to Draw Animals" type of books, and one is actually called that :=3 , kicking around. I bought them to see how to draw lions. What else. :=3

Maybe I should spend sometime in looking at those books and practice and maybe go to an art class or two.

One problem is that I'm a draftsman, that's why I get the details right. As a draftsman I want a 90 deg corner to be 90 deg. Not 85deg or 95 deg. Most viewers of art wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and if they could, they would accept it as they know the artist is going for "effect" not precision.

But as a draftsman, I go for precision. Also I'm a tad impatient. I want to be able to do it now, not 3 weeks from now, although I know there is a learning curve. I want my mind/body to be able to pass that curve by although I know, in most cases, it's not possible.

You're very welcome, my dear. I'll show it to you when it's finished, and I will be making some sort of icon out of it for you, too. That way you can have two pics of "you" to use. :)
