Off to MFF

lionkingcmslWell in a little over 16 hours, of this posting, I'll be starting the first leg of my trip to MFF by the means of NJ Transit's Atlantic City Rail Line to Amtrak's 30th St. Station where I go to board the first of two trains to Chicago.
I'll be joining Kamau and Smrgol at Philly. When we get to D.C. we'll be joined by Camstone Fox. When we get to Pittsburg Swift Fox and his mate will be joining us. :=3
Amtrak made us an offer we couldn't refuse. We had planned to travel by coach to Chicago from D.C. Their long distance coach seats are comftorable, but they are not beds. They're like your average recliner in your livingroom. Well Amtrak made some phone calls, to us, and offered an upgrade to first class service in a deluxe bedroom for $100 per room, not per passenger. This upgrade includes all meals (2 of them) and a lot of extras. They had three of these rooms and they each sleep 3. We snagged two of them, that are in the same car and next to each other. ;=3
So for the cost of two Amtrak meals each we get to sleep in a bed and travel in style. ;=3
I'll be checking in every so often, but I'll be back on the evening of the 24th.
