I want to thank every one for the support they have shown me, via their responses to my previous post. My thanks especially goes out to one certain Barbay lion. It means a lot to me to have you as friends and your support in my hours of need. You can be assured I will be there for  you when you need it.

The next item is a bit on the weird side. It was taken, as written, from Philadelphia's KYW 1060 News Radio's website

Goose Causes Fatal Turnpike Accident

By KYW's Kim Glovas

One man is dead and 9 other people were injured after a school van and a goose collided on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Students from the Baldwin School were enroute to Penn State for a science fair when the accident happened. Pennsylvania State Police Sergeant Robert Foose says Donald Polce of Bryn Mawr died after the van he was driving collided with a wayward bird:

"A Canada goose struck the windshield of the vehicle, penetrated the windshield, and struck the driver, a 63-year-old male, in the face, it appears he was rendered unconscious."

The van then veered off the roadway, up an embankment and ran into a tree. Foose says the impact with the tree most likely killed Polce. 8 students and a chaperone were injured, but none suffered life threatening injuries.

Does this mean the animals are fighting back? ;=/

I do have to laugh that the police sergeant's name is Foose, and he is talking about a goose. ;=3

Not only Foose and Goose but Polce and police.
Lots of strangeness in that story both for names and events. Bird strikes are not fun on the ground or in the air. When you figure out what the goose might have weighed and the van going say 55 mph (which might have been slow on an expressway) there's a lot of energy in such a collision. Add to that it hit the driver in the face I'm surprised it didn't break his neck.

Oh and as for your first comment; let's not do that again. I'm still cleaning fur and hide out of my claws.
*grin*

TK,

I don't think it will be possible for me to return. :={

There a few reasons:

1. I've done this a few times before, and I think I should stay to my word.
2. The person who I caused the angst to has not acknowledged my leaving. Just a simple "LK, I don't want you to leave." probably would've made a big difference. It is too late for that now. :={
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't looking for that to happen, but if it had, it might've changed my mind.
3. A certain other forum member, who posted to my "Final Post" said what was on his mind, though the Gneech deleted it. I do have to wonder, if he said it "out loud", what are others, not necessarily those that posted, thinking.

So, those are 3 reasons of why I probably won't be back.

BTW, there is another Suburban Jungle forum that has just started. ;=3

It is located at http://www.capemayfurmeet.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=b5f7d6f3f8555aae12fbe6d3df9ff887 (http://www.capemayfurmeet.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=b5f7d6f3f8555aae12fbe6d3df9ff887).

Please note, that I didn't set it up, but rather it was set up when MammaLlamaDevil had the forum set up for the CMFM before I was aware what her and the Gneech were up to. ;=3

At the request of the Gneech, the SJ Forum, that was linked to, has been taken down.

He felt that the discussions had been getting "diluted" among a couple of other concerns.

I understand his reasons and I have deleted that forum.
