Ok. No word from Mc D.'s I think I'm going to tell them forget it. ;=/
Now for a bit of shocking news.
I went to get insurance for my car. I haven't had it insured for about 2 years and my DL record is not the best. I expect to pay high rates, but $5,018 dollars for a one year plan??? The DMV laws and the insurance laws of this state need a major overhual. No wonder people drive in NJ without insurance, they can't afford it.
I do have another plan, which means I'll be away from the keyboard for a bit. I'll have to travel to Florida to get it straigtened out.
I'll make an entry when I leave.
That's it for now.

I think this thing with McD's is getting ridiculous. How can they expect you to sit and wait for their call when you have to work to live?

What is that for, full coverage, 0 deductible, on a Porsche??!!
You don't have to have insurance in NJ?
Gotta have it in IL to get plates.
Mine is ~$400/ 6 months, for full coverage. (have to have full coverage, since I'm still paying on the car)
I would strongly recommend shopping around!
(and if you say that that is the lowest of 4 quotes, I'm gonna have a heart attack! And NEVER set foot inside NJ!)

Date: 2002-01-29 06:44 pm (UTC)I'm in the assigned risk catergory and there is no shopping around. Youp ay your deposit to the State of NJ and then they assign you to an insurance company. This is for a one year policy, no 6 months policy available.
As for not having insurance in NJ, that's how I got into this mess.
