Help!

I'm trying to get the area where you post comments to look right.

I had it where it said:

# have fed the lion! | Feed the lion!

However I was not happy with "1 have fed the lion!" as it is not grammatically correct. It should be "1 has fed the lion!"

I have that corrected, but now the "Feed the lion part!" doesn't display correctly. :={

Can't say I really know much about the annoyingly over-complex style system that LiveJournal uses, but I just had to leave a stupid comment nontheless.

Since the All Your Base craze, everyone loves deliberately mis-worded things, and "1 have fed the lion!" fits right into that. If it were me, I'd take it one step further and have something like... "4 lion are fed! | FOOD GET!!1"

But then, I'm pretty much insane.

I don't think you can pull it off like you want

1 has
2 have

Their only plurals they have, as far as I can see, is adding 's' 'es', or 'ies' to the words.

Actually...with the s2 system, you should be able to, however, I don't know how to do it. I use one of the prepackaged styles and override defaults on it using their form, so I don't know how it's coded

Actually the plural part is working, it's the "Feed the lion!" part that I'm having trouble with.

You are doing what I want to do with your LJ.

You have
1 has spammed the lion
# have spammed the lion

and
Spam the lion

If you could send me your code, then I would think it would work, after I reworded it.

I'm using the S2 system, which allows differing words for plurals. From the code that I saw that you posted, it appeared you are using S1.

I suggest leaving "feed the lion" the same, but change the post comment message to
1 commentator(s) devoured!
