I actually started back yesterday at 8a. Everyone in the store was glad to see me, including the managers. To tell you the truth, I like day shift better. It seems that the crew gets along better and has much more fun. Add in the fact that I don't have to "break down" the grills, makes for one very happy lion. :=3
Interesting side note happened today. The "gentleman" that caused this "nonsense" came in for his check. He came uop to me, said hello and shook my hand. As he was leaving, he put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Don, I'm glad your back." He seemed sincere about it. I wonder what caused a change in attitude. The guy who was working with me looked at me, after the other person shook my hand, and said, "I didn't think I'd ever see that."
So every one is happier and life goes on.
As far as the insurance deal, I may not have to go to Fla, to get my insurance, but I would if I have to get my DL. Stay tuned for more info. BTW, it's lokinng like the beginning of March for my trip if I do go.
