WARNING: To those that make a lot of "Friends only" posts, please read the following.

PLEASE DO NOT ARCHIVE MY BLOG ON FRIENDITTO. NOT FOR ANY REASON. NOT EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU'RE MY VERY BEST FRIEND. DO. NOT. DO. IT.
Frienditto.com is a site that allows anyone on your flist to archive your posts, whether they are protected posts or not. This sounds to me like complete and utter bullshit. If I post something privately or make a protected post, I want it to stay private, because it usually has to do with me blowing off steam with people I trust and thus, doesn't need to be out in public. (That's the whole point of a friends list, now ain't it?)
Ditto. Same goes for me.

Date: 2005-03-05 06:09 pm (UTC)Also they are apparently against furs, goths and anyone with an "alternative" lifestyle.
They have said they will archive any passwords received in case they "Have to get back at Brad" (the guy who built LJ), if they loser theiur LJ accounts because of this.
Also they will give any info gleaned from the posts "to the proper authorities" if anything "illegal" is found or suggested.
They have, also, not ruled out selling the passwords and names to spammers.
Sometimes I regret you just can't shoot people like these scumbags. ;=/
