CMFM Update
Apr. 24th, 2005 09:18 pmI know it is a little less than a month away, but here is an update.
The CMFM is a go for this year. :=3
While we won't be able to get into Cape May by train again, bridge is in need of state funded repairs, we will have the complete train set of F unit #576, lounge car and M-407.
Start time for the meet is 9a on Saturday and Sunday at the location we used last year.
Remember there is a charge this time of $30 for both days and $20 for just one day. There is a sponsor level of $50 for both days and that will include dinner with our GOH - Uncle Kage on Saturday.
You can send checks or money orders, no CC's at this time, to:
Cape May Fur Meet
208 Malaga Park Drive
Malaga, NJ 08328
Please send these in as soon as possible. If you do plan to attend, but pay at the door, please send a RSVP to me at lionkingcmsl@snip.net and put " Cape May Fur Meet '05 " in the subject line.
I will not be the engineer on Saturday, so I can mingle, but I will be on Sunday.
Look for updated web site shortly, like in a day or so.
I thank all for their patience while I worked things out with the RR. :=3
BTW, for those that didn't know, yes, I'm back with the RR. Tony and I worked out our differences and problems. :=3
EDIT:For those that don't know, or forgot, the dates are May 21 and 22nd and the website is located at www.capemayfurmeet.com.

Date: 2005-04-25 02:45 am (UTC)All in all, this sounds like very good news. I hope things really do and will work out at the RR for the better... know that there are a pair of foxes who are very glad to hear that you have worked things out - and that fences appear to have been mended.
