My username is lowen_kind because I had changed it from LionkingCMSL. Löwen Kind is an "Americanzation" of the German phrase kind der löwen (I think I got it right), or child of the lion. So Löwen Kind means "lion's child".
LionkingCMSL came from when I signed on the old Yahoo chat and Lionking was taken. I added CMSL to honor the RR I was/am working for, the Cape May Seashore Lines.

2. My journal is titled _______ because ____.

My journal is titled "Ramblings, rants & idle thoughts" because it describes my entries quite nicely, I think.

3. My subtitle is ____ because ____.

My subtitle is "from the railroading lion. :=3" because it describes whose LJ it is, mine. The " :=3 " is my idea of a lion "smilie".

4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.

My friends page is called "Some friends of mine" for the same reasons as outlined above: it's descriptive.

5. My default userpic is ____ because ____.

My default userpic is from a con badge that I commissioned from John "the_gneech" Robey at AC 2004. It shows my fursona and my tiger pawpet, "Shere Conrad".

Das Kind des Löwen.

"Das" is the neutral nominative [subject] article (children don't get to have gender) and "des" is the male genetive [posessive] article. In the genetive case, "der" is feminine. German definite articles are so confusing!
