OK, Time to get rid of the spammers. They have reached new lows...

by using your own e-mail addy in the from line. ;={

I'm the "DNS Admin" for the Cape May Seashore Lines web site.

Now, I never have used that addy for anything but official DNS business to InterNic.

When I get spam, I automatically "block sender", and if I ever get my paws on the @$$ that gave my addy to the Korean/Asian spammers. Well let's say that there wouldn't be enough of that *ahem*person*ahem* for DNA testing. Well, every so often I go through and block entire domains, so I don't get any from that domain. When I do that, every so often I see the dnsadmin addy show up.

That has got to be a new low.

Majority of my spam is from Korea, and it's in Korean, for porn sites, Viagra and variants and from investment "firms". One, I'm not even close to being Asiatic, and two, I'm not interested in investments. The porn and drugs I'm not truely interested in, but who knows, though most of that is blocked also.

I do believe that my addy was "given" out, as the spam mainly hits the one addy of the four I've listed on my website. I would change my e-mail addy, but That would cause more problems, as I don't know who all has it.

An interesting side note is, that one piece of spam, from Korea, I'm actually interested in. It's for small DC motors.

Hmm... It may be that someone picked up your admin address by sending out a bot or spider.

I've been getting korean spam too, but it's a fairly recent addition to my already overflowing(with spam) mailbox. *scratches her head*
Which reminds me, time to tinker with the filters, I forgot to reset most of them after the harddrive went boom.

Not had a problem with mine at all in the domain. Then again I never give out that email addy, ever. My spam levels on email are rare but I do have some addy's that get whammed to death daily with all sorts of spam that I am not interested in. Now if they were about the following:

DVD's of shows that I want to see. Say, complete seasons of Redwall or Watership Down.
