As
teriv has said we had a productive weekend.
We are totally done with 208/200 Malaga Park Drive, other than to pay some back rent and drop off the keys.
The house is coming along real nice. It is interesting how Teri and I see things the same way.
Yes, the changing of the paneling is a moot point now. With the color of the furniture and decorations, addition of more lighting, and the fact we'd have to pull down the drop ceiling has changed our minds. It's funny that we didn't consider that when we looked at the house when it was empty. :=/
We got a futon for the guest room, free of charge, from one the employees at G&G Communications, my old radio job. :=3
With the futon and full size bed up there and the furniture in the basement, plus the egg-crate mattress and cot we can sleep up to 11 people and this is before we have to tell people they have to lay on the floor. :=3
Yes, I willingly purged some of my items. There was some discussion, but no kicking and screaming. Well, not much. :=3 To be fair Teri has purged some of her stuff as well. We'll be having a yard sale at one point. :=3
Sorry Casey, no trains.
We were paid the ultimate compliment on the purchase of the house. My brother told me that if he knew that the house was on the market he would've put a bid on it. :=3
Sorry, bro. This one is mine. :=3
BTW, Camstone and Mooivos came by on Friday to see the house and they loved it. Get well soon Cam.
More updates later.
