my birth(whelp)day.

As another year passes into the record books, and I'm still a failure as compared to my friends, family and just plain joes. :={
I knew life wasn't going to be easy, but being 46 and living hand to mouth is not enjoyable.
I'm useless and hopeless. :={

does not beat a wood (ties) and steel (basically everything else) bridge, especially if the bridge weighs 400 tons. :=/
That's right, yesterday, a boat hit the bridge.
Now the bridge was full seated in the closed position, and locked down for the railroad. It had been this way for about 2-3 minutes before the boat hits the bridge. This is important because the boat owner is now saying that the he didn't hear any horns blasts and the bridge was moving as he came to it, but fully closed when he hit it. WRONG!!!
Dude, you were not even visible when I started closing that bridge. There was no-one near the bridge in fact. Other vessels had already approached the bridge and stopped, on the other side, before you got there.
