Well, so much for me going into work today. :={

As I was going down the steps from the kitchen door to the lower deck I slipped and fell down two steps. This resulted in me severely twisting my left ankle. 8=0

I knew I wasn't going to go to work, as it hurt pretty bad. I also thought it might be severe enough for a trip to the ER. Fortunately after a moment or two the pain subsided and is now a dull throb. With all the walking I do, and as much as I'm on my feet, at work, work is a no go for me today.

It is also fortunate that Teri was still here, as she helped me back into the house and called work for me.

I'm okay, just a bit sore. :=/

Wow, er.. I think the stairs at your house are dangerous... I remember that other time I think that either you or your er. Not sure what stage your at this moment with Teri when one of you fell down the other steps.

Stairs not necessarily cursed. LK failed one of the first steps in safety this a.m. - turn on the light (as it was dark when he was leaving). He usually turns the light on - apparently the universe had other ideas for him today - and one of them was not going to work. Stay safe and feel better sweetie!

Mom took a fall a couple of weeks back and she passed it off. When she saw her doctor a week or so later he found a sprained ankle and torn ligaments.

Keep an eye on it. I hope you managed to ice it down to keep the swelling from getting to bad.

Ibuprofen and the ice pack should take care of any swelling.
