More thoughts on the "Incident"

lionkingcmslI have been informed that the incident referred to in my previous post, has resulted in some "avatars" being divided, and the break up of a friendship.
These two events sadden this lion. This lion wants everyone to get along. I know it is an impossible dream, but lions can dream, can't they.
People, friends, even though I'm not part of that forum, in the posting sense, that does not mean I don't want you all to "be well" and to get along with each other.
The breaking up of a friendship is a horrible thing. I know I wanted to end one, but the other person refused to end it, much to my later benefit.
To me, friendships are like old family photographs, you must treasure them. Once broken, a friendship is very hard to re-start.
To that end, I will post a poem I wrote. It was written when I thought a friendship was ended. I was much relieved to find out that my friend was merely busy.
Friendship Lost?

Friendship perceived lost,
emptiness in heart and soul.
Possibly the wrong thing said,
but not knowing what.
Thinking you're friendly,
but maybe you're overbearing.
Like to rebuild friendship,
but you do not know how,
as you don't know what went wrong.
Even if friendship could be rebuilt,
always the feeling that you may lose it again.
Friendship perceived lost,
emptiness in heart and soul.

To my friends, please do not a little "bump" on the road of life make you lose control and there by wreck things that are dear to you, like friendships.
