Contract update.
Jan. 17th, 2008 03:04 pmWell, we just got word that we have a tentative contract. :=3
The "company" has decided to follow the PEB's recommendations to the letter, and the unions are all for it also.
This means the company's past eight years of stonewalling on unfair work rule changes has come to naught, as those changes will NOT be in the contract, and the company has to pay full retro pay: 40% within 30 days of ratification and 60% no later than 1 year after the 40% payment.
This means I'lll be paying for some of my medical, and my co-pays go up, but it is in-line with the freights, so I can't complain.
