I like snow, I really do. I'll be the first to pack it into a snowball. While it's been a few years since I've been sledding, I still enjoy it.

However, enough is enough. Fifty inches in a course of a month and a half with more scheduled on Tuesday/Wednesday is making me throw up my paws and say, "Okay! You win!"

When I bought that Snow Fox snow thrower, back in December, I thought I wouldn't need it again until next winter. WRONG!!

BTW, that little Snow Fox is worth the money I paid and then some. It only clears a 12" wide path and is only good for snow <6" deep. So you can see the work I have to do to clear a 6 foot wide driveway with 24" of snow on it. But it still does an admirable job in handling all that snow.

One thing is for sure, that blasted groundhog got his prediction spot on. :=/

I was going to post a picture of the snow on my sidewalks, to annoy the Easterners, but the sun came out and melted it.

w00t! for the snow blower. I always wanted one, but SWMBOBNA was dead-set against them... ecologically unfreindly, noisy, yadda yadda. I'm happy for you that you have it in time of need!

Well, mine is electric, so no carbon footprint at the house and it is relatively quiet.

This is the second time that we had no snow at all up here in Sussex County while you folks in the south got nailed. Usually it is the opposite. If it makes you feel any better, I was up at my mate's house in Walnutport, PA, and we got 3 or 4 inches there. It was nice to come home tonight and find nothing here. *chuckles*

Except for the sleet/ice we got last weekend. So far we keep getting missed this winter. Though I could understand being tired of it when it hits the 50" mark.
