Too much time on one's paws. ;=3
Feb. 6th, 2003 07:01 amI had stated that I wasn't going to work on my starship, the Lion's Den, for a bit because that I was working on it when my mom called me and told me about the Columbia.
Well, something was nagging me at the back of my brain, telling me to work on it, as it would be in keeping what they were doing "alive". I would be more "dis-honoring" their scarfice by not working on it than by working on it.
That being the case, i finished a couple of 3D scenes in trueSpace3 that I was doing and then ended up animating a small "fly-by" clip.
I'd post a link to the clip here, but I want the other authors to have a gander first and the clip is ~4.5 megs big.
I'm really getting the hang of trueSpace3 and I am learning a lot aobut 3D modelling and rendering in general. I wish there was a course somewhere, without going to college, that I could take to learn more about 3D work.
I feel that if I could put more time into that, 3D modelling, I may be able to get what is in my head to actually be represented.
I might talk to my bro to see if he knowsa of any courses.
Now to get my paws on a 'puter to film or tape converter. It might be time to buy a DVD burner so I can put my animations on the "small screen". Hmmmmm.
