Maybe tomorrow (or Sunday)

Well a story I was looking for isn't in today's paper. Hopefully it'll be in tomorrow's (or Sunday's).

"What kind of story?" you ask? Well I was interviewed about my furriness. I can see some here going, "Oh, no! Not another VF article!" Well it isn't. This story is about me, not about furries in general. I've also read the article before it was printed.

I was talking to the reporter and she mentioned that she talked to some people. She told me something I already knew, most people know nothing of furry, even with VF and MTV. I had put my estimate on those that know nothing at 95%. She said I was being too conservative and she would put it at 98 to 99%.

Mickey D's knows of the article and about my love of lions. Heck I wear a cougar tie tac, lion ring and belt buckle to work. I also refer to myself as "the lion".

The owner of the railroad knows I'm furry. In fact we discovered his furry side. He's a tiger. :=3 Not that he'd admit to anyone else than fellow furs, or would you ever catch him at a con. He's cool with the idea. I have noticed something though, about him. He's more comfortable around furs, even those that are "latent" furs; ie: they're furry but may not know it. Around non-furs he gets very uptight.

You'd think that with so many of us "Cat" furs around, they'd make better cat ears. I'm still waiting for ones that don't look pasted to a headband.

Yeah, I know. That is why I found a way to do it: I made my own. T band is made out of copper wire, so it blends into one's hair (especially mine because it is really messy/wavy/whatever.) But the cat ears were hand made by someone who can't sew (a.k.a. me.) If you want, I'll tell you how to make them.

Any chance you'll provide a link to the story or type it in when it appears so that curious furs can read it?

I've noticed a lot of "latent" furs ---people that have all the signs of being furry fans at least but have no real clue who and what they are until they meet other furs. And some just prefer not to take the label.

BTW, a certain chair of a certain con was interviewed and that interview appears in the article.
