Yesterday, after going down to the railroad and removing a relay cabinet from an abandonded crossing (the road is no longer there), I went to Northfield to check out a gaming store.

I wanted to know if they would be amiable to me play testing my game there.

They said no prob. ;=3

I hadn't planed to do any at that time, as I didn't bring any evaulation sheets for the players to fill out.

I caved in anyway and asked if anyone was willing to play test. One kid said he was willing to give it a try. After a we played a few hands, which he was estatic over, a few more kids joined in. I had up to five kids playing at the same time.

Their re-action? Well if the comments, "Can you print a deck for me?" and "Do they have it here yet?", are any indication, then I would say it was very favorable. ;=3

In fact the kids, who had played a few hands, would tell any new players the rules. ;=3

BTW, when I say kids, I mean kids. The youngest was 10 and the oldest ~13. :=3

These were serious gaming kids also. They were trading other game cards back and forth between hands, but during the games they were intent on winning, or at least making someone else lose (like me), the game. ;=3

The owners of the gaming store, "Jester's Playhouse", know the gaming company I'm approaching and know the art director personally.

I did make one small mistake though yesterday. I forgot to give those people my name and phone number. ;=/

They will probably be pestered by those kids, and others, about when I'll be back and no way to contact me. I'll call them later with the info. ;=3
