An attempt of a mood scene.

The train set is the same one that I used in "Train Arrival", but re-skinned for my model railroad, the South Jersey & Western.

Great work LK. Love the dark tones, grey sky and the multiple direction of the rain drops. How are the droplets added to the scene?

The rain is a prop available from Renderosity: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=86389 .

There are two of the prop. The first is very near the camera and the second is about two-thirds the way back on the loco, to give more depth to the rain.

The sky is from the same vendor and place.

Four lights provide illumination: The two headlights, one in the building, the windows are just lit, and a ambient for the sky.

Took a bit of tweaking to get the look just right. :=3
