Well I got a reply

Back with this post: http://lowen-kind.livejournal.com/265286.html I had commented that I had e-mailed VP Biden about the TSA.

On the 27th I got a reply. Granted it is a "Boiler plate" reply, but at least my e-mail was read by somebody.

Here is the reply in its entirety:

Dear Donald:



Thank you for writing to me about the Transportation Security Administration's security measures.

The President and I are doing everything we can to protect our Nation, and we are committed to keeping you and your family safe. We welcome your input as we continue to tackle the challenges before us, and we appreciate you sharing your experiences and concerns.

I am confident that whether we agree or disagree on every policy issue, we can work together to find common ground that is in the best interest of our country. It will take a cumulative effort from all Americans to make sure our tomorrows are better than our yesterdays.

I encourage you to continue to stay engaged and interested in your government. Again, thank you for your input.

Again a boiler plate reply, but at least the e-mail was read and someone knows of my feelings regarding the Totally Stupid Agency.

Well, now if we could get the far right side to stop looking for more tax breaks for the super rich etc in that country and start taxing them properly in hopes that the country couldn't get into so much debt.

That be a good start as well.

At least he got the right issue. One person I know of wrote to his congressperson to espress opposition to the PROTECT IP act, and received a boilerplate reply about illegal immigration (totally different issue).
