As I type this the rain is pouring down here at Sunnyside Yard. :={

And come this weekend brings Irene. Yippee!

Things are certainly getting really weird.

Still waiting for any official word on Mascot Day at the Long Island Ducks.

Last year, Mascot Day went on minus the dodgeball game. Then the Ducks played 3 innings and went into perpetual rain delay. Most of the mascots stuck around for a couple of hours and our bunch stayed until 8pm when the game supposedly would have ended yesterday.

But this year the approaching storm really looks bad. Will let you know about Sunday's event soon as I find out.
