Enterprise meets Seaview by *LionkingCMSL on deviantART

The nuclear aircraft carrier Enterprise meets up with the Seaview.

For those that don't know of the Seaview, it was the name of the sub of Irwin Allen's circa 1960 movie Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and the television series of the same name. The sub model is based on the sub used in the movie and the first season of the series.

Once again a nice rendering. Got me thinking about the show and the attempt to revive it with SeaQuest. Sad we don't have shows like that or the optimism and desire to explore the way the shows envisioned it.
