People that really know me know I'm not really into sports.

I'll root for the home teams (Philly), and root against the NYC teams (especially the Yets and Spankees), but otherwise I'm not a big fan.

That being said there is one team I root for, though most seasons it is a loosing cause.

I've always said that one year this team will win it all and silence their detractors. This may be the year!

The team? Like you need ask: Detroit Lions! :=3

Right now they are 4-0 and have had two great come from behind victories in as many weeks! And them beating the Cowgirls only makes it sweeter! :=3

Detroit missed a golden opportunity; instead of their NBA team being called the Pistons they should have been called the Bears!

But then again, a bear team already exists in the league. :)

A friend and I were in Philly Sat night for a concert, so the dinner pub was full of screaming and shouting for the Phillies game. It feels strange for me to see stores full of logos and colors of strange baseball teams :-/

It's hard being a mustelid, there are so few teams of our kind: only otters and wolverines. For baseball, I'm obligated to steal all the Red Sox (as ferrets are wont to do!)
