Well, I finally got my new computer up and running. :=3

Stats:
9" diag. monochrome screen: Green on black
2 394K 5.25" floppy disk drives
64K RAM
Detachable Keyboard
Portable

Software:
CP/M Operating System
Wordstar
Word Plus
M-Basic
S-Basic
Superterm
C-Basic
Microplan
Uniform

Yes, sir; nothing but state of the art for me. :=3

And I'm not making this up. I finally got the disks to get a KayPro 4 (circa 1983) running again. :=3

There a couple of games for that machine I look forward to playing again. :=3

See the reply I posted about the NJ Vintage Comouter fest: that'll be a great place to show it off and sell/swap/trade it if you choose.

Green on Black...

You know that's the most relaxing colour combination to actually use a word processor. 9Get that Microsoft, green on black, not that horrible WYSIWYG black on white which glares brightly at you at all times.) :p

Sometimes I really miss Word Perfect 5.1 for dos...

Some very familiar features there, particularly the CP/M Operating System and Wordstar. 5 1/4" floppy drives? Advanced indeed. I was playing "Colossal Cave" on 8" floppies here: http://thefoxaroo.livejournal.com/165981.html

show it off in May
