No, not that type of change. :3

As most of you know I used to drink Diet Pepsi by the gallon. Well, no more.

It seems a week or so ago I had jury duty and no soda in the house. I couldn't be bothered to buy some more and I did without.

Boy, what a change I noticed: more energy and my mood improved greatly. I was returning to my old self. :=3

I even got the energy to do something people that have visited my den will find amazing: I cleaned up my office completely. Cleaned to the point I actually ran the vacuum cleaner in there.

No putting stuff in boxes to be sorted later. I did a wholesale blowout and filed needed things properly. :=3

I am now starting on my bedroom.

At work my mood is a whole lot better.

So while I may have a Diet Pepsi with dinner or lunch, buying cases of it is right out. I'll stick with water or iced tea. :=3

Interesting. I wonder if I should try that.

I fully expect the doctors will open me up when I die and find a layer of solidified caffiene or mountain dew covering my brain like a second skin. I drink so much of the stuff, it wouldn't be any other way :P

... which reminds me, I need to go buy another two eight packs...

I love iced tea. I drink so much of it. But I buy caffeine free and brew it extra strong then pour it over ice. No sugar, no sweetener, just plain iced tea. :3

Good for you! =^.^=

Any particular reason why you're having diet instead of regular?

YAY for identifying a mood-downer!

A fellow at a computer show clued me into things like look like pixie sticks: thin pre-measured packets of iced tea, energy drinks and such that you add to water. With the price of bottled water the same as soft drinks, there's no savings there. But bring your own bottle and it's suddenly saving money and eliminating plastic waste.

I don't always remember to do it, but I'm trying to phase over to that, particularly since I have sports bottles from Anthrocon, the Long Island Ducks (courtesy of their mascot day) and other events. And you probably do tool.

Yeah did that last year after the first kidney stone, don't drink that stuff as much as I used to anymore. Don't think I trust the diet whatever chemicals used as they really did affect mood swings which wasn't good at all.

I've come to notice now that even with just one can/bottle it can change a mood easily and I'm not okay with that, rather keep in control of that myself.

There's a flavoured green tea that I used to drink by the gallon (Batty's familiar with it too). It's expensive and loaded with sugar, and I've made it one of my 2012 resolutions to give it up.

...I'm struggling.
