Hotel lobby by *LionkingCMSL on deviantART
I'm in the process of creating the entire The Pullman Hotel in 3D.
This being done so I can update the business plan with better images and have the correct front view.
This is a partial lobby scene; the second floor is missing, as well as seating. It shows how the elements come together as well as the statue and water feature.
Vue let's me do 3D text, so the signage is in place.
The camera is located at the far right door of the main lobby and is pointing at the front desk, showing the clean sight line. No hidden front desk at this hotel!. :=3

Are you going to allow conventions in your hotel?
If so, will you allow them to post signs on the walls, or provide other means for posting signage?
(I ask this because the hotel that hosted VancouFur didn't really want signs posted, which made it a little hard to find my way around)

Date: 2012-04-02 12:14 am (UTC)I'm shooting for a 4 or 5 star hotel. 3 star at bare minimum.
As for conventions, I run the Cape May Fur Meet, so what do you think? :=3
And being it is called The Pullman Hotel and Convention Center I think there will be one or two conventions allowed. :=3
Signage will be allowed and I'm thinking of a "Solaria" flip board, like at 30th Street Station, to provide information.
Basically I want people to think they are entering a train station and not a hotel.
