I won't tell you who to vote for, but my message, IMHO, is very important.

Thankfully, I avoid all ads, period. I don't watch TV, and I use AdBlock on the internet, so....no presidential ads.
I want to vote for the Candidate that is NOT going to wreck this country. Unfortunately, sometimes that's hard to do. Lately, they've all been different degrees of awful.

Bravo! Well said.

I wish more people would do this. Too many people only pay attention to the negative ads or the "image" the candidate projects and not to the issues at hand.

Sadly, though, this has become all too commonplace. In these days of 2 second attention spans and the notion that the bigger the budget the better the ..thing, the candidate with the glitzier ad, the shiniest campaign marketing, the "best" soundbites often wins a sense of legitimacy from the masses. Slander and gossip sells, and sells well, and many enjoy it. The phrase "Bread and Circuses" comes to mind.

Me, I think they all suck to varying degrees. I vote based on whomever I think sucks less on the issues that resonate with me.
