Reminder: Party time!

Just a reminder that my Hallowe'en party is just a scant two weeks away, on the 27th.

I really would like to know who is coming, other than those who said they would or would not.

Obliviously, if you live a continent or ocean away I would not expect to see you, but it would be s nice surprise. :=3

It's do'able.... But oil prices are insanely high and so is the airline industry. But the cheapest is £1,016....

That would leave my savings just around the £1.6k mark. For a few days a whole grand is just not in my new mindset (I really don't waste money these days) not viable option.

Sorry, but until airline tickets get back down to £180 or so like they used to be, can't see me ever heading states'side again in my lifetime.

Would've said yes if it was 2009 and the price was £400, but wow, prices have shot up. :)

Hmm, did check other dates but means sticking about from 23rd to 1st Nov, price drops down to a respectful £477.. Which for me is more do'able. About 1/10th of what funds I have as of today... Around abouts.

Maybe next year, like to have a bit more buffer in the savings. Not sure what's happening with my income next year with several changees.
