Not a happy anniversary |={

This is not an anniversary that calls for a celebration. It was 6 months ago today that my mom passed.

I would be lying if I said it hasn't weighed heavily on me. There are times I want to call her and talk to her about different things; but I can't. |={

Through it all, though I had thought otherwise before, I have held it together pretty well. Having an understanding aunt helps.

I miss you, mom.

I'm sorry. It's been four years for me. I still miss her, still hear her voice. She'd be talking politics right now.

I know the ache. My grandmother passed on just under two years ago now. I was much closer to her than to my mother (and definitely to my father) and I miss being able to talk with her.
