Lion Games, LLC truck line up by LionkingCMSL on deviantART
Here we have a line up of different Lion Games, LLC trucks waiting to be loaded and dispatched.
I would so love this scene to be real. :=3
Vehicles are from, left to right: Vanishing Point, S3D, and, the two F-350 box trucks, IW. The trucks have custom skins by me. The set is from Dreamland Models.
Poser Pro and Vue Complete

Date: 2014-07-01 11:44 pm (UTC)This is actually really well done, and the lighting is nearly perfect. (lighting is a maaajor pain, and what people in the VFX/SFX/CGI industries get paid the big bucks to do).
Some things done really, REALLY well: the concrete texture you used, and its placement.
Same goes for the brick texture and its placement.
I freaking love the windows on the building.
The rust on the steel beams is really well done too.
Some things that work relatively well, but are being a problem due to technology/software constraints: the roof tiles on the awning are moire patterning, as well as tiling incorrectly.
The texture on the dock-doors is being lost, but would require really intricate lighting that would also require very expensive software to do.
Hiccups that happen to the best of us: The texture/objects for the bumpers below the dock doors got shifted to the left (from viewer's perspective) of the doors. This might have even been an internal (software) glitch.
The skins for the trucks are *very* well done! The only issue is that they don't look like they belong in the scene. I'm trying to decide if their scale is slightly off for the rest of the scene or what it is that's throwing me off.
One thing (lighting again, I know) is that they are lit differently than the rest of the scene, which breaks the illusion of reality a little.
Vue is AMAZING at "natural lighting"... but not so good at intricate/individual object lighting.
Ah! Reduce the specularity of the skin on the trucks just a little bit (to the right of the decimal)... that might help in Vue.
