Well, in a few hours (3pm) I'll be heading to the Orlando area to be on the Pawpet Funday Show. :=3

"Wait a minute!" you say. "How can you be leave at 3:00p and be in Orlando by show time? You flying down? And aren't you cutting it close?"

Ahh, dear peruser of this journal, apparently you didn't read my previous post. I'm writing this journal from the sunny west coast of Florida, Venice to be precise, and have plenty of time to drive to where the show is produced. ;=3

I'm having a great time relaxing and will start heading back to the grind on Wed. morning with a stop in Jacksonville to meet up with rhanlav and carlfox. ;=3

Hmm, maybe I'll go for a swim in the heated pool before leaving for the show. (Just a tease for those in the northeast.) :=3

Venice, that's just down the road from me. It's a nice little town that was formed due to the railroad and logging industries. Did you check out the nicely restored SAL train station?

Be advised I do leave Wed. (4/7) at around 12n, or so, to head back north.

If you want to meet up tuesday give me a call at 941-320-6669. I got to work till 3pm on tuesday but after that I'm free to do something.

The county did a nice job restoring it and we built some track for them to put the restored caboose painted in SAL. On the property there is a hand car, caboose, and the passenger car is coming soon.
