Two things

One, thanks to everyone who hs posted in my "Does anyone read my LJ ..." and my "How Cool" meme entries.

Secondly, my mood of "Blah", in my last post, had nothing to do with the meme, but everyhing to do with the weather.

It was raining, dreary, windy, and an all around miserable day yesterday. :=/

Bleah. We've been below normal temperatures so far this year. On the plus side it will probably delay the onset of mosquitoes.

We have been quite warm and a lot drier than normal, expecting an early forest fire season this year. The local tourist steam railway had to shut down in July last year. The sparks from the engine set fire to the dry grass along the right of way. They had to stop the train and go put out the fires they started. It took twice as long to complete the trip as normal so they decided to shut down due to the dryness.
