To that end I thought up some Haikus.

I hope to get them in the con book.

Hero Haikus

Same as us, they are.
Though in hazard's way they go.
Heroes are their name.

No capes on their backs.
Though danger they often face.
What are they? Heroes!

They seek no glory, fame.
Unflinchingly do their job.
You know them. Heroes all.

Firefighter, medic.
Helping others is their call
Soldier, policeman.

Faces in a crowd.
They're unknown until needed.
Lives put on the line.

Interesting. That theme should offer all of us a lot of fuel for our creativity.
